Department Description

The Environmental Services department at Cambridge Health Alliance is dedicated to providing a safe, clean, and sanitized environment for all patients, staff, and visitors. Our team plays a critical role in infection prevention and control by meticulously maintaining all hospital spaces, from patient rooms to operating theaters and common areas. Job Summary

Under the supervision of the manager, the Housekeeper will perform essential cleaning, sanitizing, and supplying duties across the hospital. This role is vital for maintaining a clean, sanitary, comfortable, orderly, and satisfying environment for our patients, employees, and visitors. The core of this position is focused on achieving customer satisfaction, fostering positive human relations, driving innovation, and delivering service excellence in line with the hospital and department mission, policies, procedures, and standards.

Qualifications and Requirement:

High school/GED

6 months experience is required; 1 year preferred.

Must be able to read and write English and follow simple instructions.

Newly hired candidates are required to successfully complete a job specific agility test
