Job Duties

Electromechanical Technician (Community Electric, Inc.; Renville, MN): Diagnose electrical and mechanical problems on specialized sugar beet pilers and related piling equipment. Repair and maintain sugar beet ventilation systems, including wireless temperature probes and automated Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) driven motor control panels. Interpret blueprints, schematics, and other technical drawings. Conduct electrical maintenance on low voltage (single and 3 phase) systems for motor starters and conveyors. Conduct generator maintenance and repair work using relevant codes and safety regulations. Convert European electrical metric standards to standard U.S. format and schematics on Sonovo and Moba egg grading equipment. Maintain European code and programs that are used in the specialized Sonovo egg breaking equipment including vision systems. Trench and repair cables and install electrical feeds. Test electrical circuits using appropriate equipment. Repair machinery, equipment and vehicles. Transport heavy equipment. Weld, solder, and assemble pre-fabrication work. Braze and weld. Maintain accurate and up-to-date computer records, especially in Word and Excel.

Position requires 35% domestic travel.

Salary: $64,896.00 per year. Standard company benefits.
