Full job description
EMS is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Warehouse Coordinator to join our dynamic team. You will play a critical role in maintaining optimal warehouse performance by coordinating shipping and receiving activities. Ask about our sign-on bonus!
Position Summary:
Manage warehouse resources in support of business requirements. Responsible for normal and exception outbound processing to ensure customer orders are shipped accurately. Assist in other areas in logistics.
Responsibilities:

Prepare/package materials for shipment to outside processing or customers

Fill orders or requisitions for materials by locating, retrieving, unpackaging and kitting or delivering materials to plant locations.

Verify correctness of shipments against bills of lading, invoices or other records.

Check for shortages and reject damaged goods.

Assist in loading and unloading of trucks and movement of materials to storage locations.

Maintain an acceptable level of housekeeping order and cleanliness in the area.

Receive materials, equipment, merchandise and similar items in a storeroom or warehouse.

Store items in high/low bay racks, in bins or on the floor. Includes marking or tagging items for identification.

Complete Oracle / Maximo inventory and other ERP transactions.

Safely operate a fork lift truck, overhead crane or other material handling equipment

Prepare records of goods shipped by making bills of lading, posting weight and shipping charges and maintaining shipping records

Wear all required PPE at all times.

Other duties as required.
Education and Experience:
-
High School or Equivalency Diploma
-
4-6 years in outbound-transportation environment/export experience
-
Previous lead experience
-
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
-
Ability to work in high pressure environment with minimal oversight

Knowledge of personal computers and associated business software and ability to learn Oracle transactions
