POSITION SUMMARY:

Grinder B is a basic grinder. They are responsible for a basic grind before, in between and after lamination removing any imperfections.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Basic grinding on boat

  • Must be able to follow tool maintenance

  • Ability to work alone when needed

  • Housekeeping

  • ALL OTHER DUTIES AS ASSIGNED

EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Minimum Degree Required: High School Diploma or Equivalent

  • Certificate(s) or License(s): None

  • Years of experience: None

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITY:

  • Must be able to climb a ladder

  • Must be able to use both hands

  • Must be able to wear a respirator or dust mask

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS:

  • NA

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

Regularly walks and stands.

Occasionally lifts up to 50lbs.

Seldom/never performs computer work or sits.

INDEPENDENT JUDGEMENT :

Performs tasks and duties under general supervision, using established procedures and innovation. Chooses from limited alternatives to resolve problems. Occasional independent judgment is required to complete work assignments. Often makes recommendations to work procedures, policies, and practices.
