Printing Plant Worker (Security Room)

This position is part of the Government Secure and Intelligent Documents, Government Publishing Office in Stennis Space Center, Mississippi. To qualify for the Printing Plant Worker (Security Room), KX-4401-03 position, you must meet the following requirements: Applicants must meet the following screen-out element, Job Element #1: Ability to do the work of a Printing Plant Worker (Security Room), without more than normal supervision. To be considered eligible for the position; applicants must have experience and/or training of sufficient scope and quality to independently perform the duties typically required of this position. These duties require: packing, labeling, loading, stacking, and inspecting printed material for quality while maintaining a clean and safe work area. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. All qualification requirements must be met by the closing date (08/18/2026) of this announcement to be considered. Clean and maintain a safe work area. Load and unload work on skids, table, machines, or trucks. Wrap, tie, and pack pamphlets and packages. Pack shipments per instructions via packing slips and recording into a log. Education Substitution of education in lieu of experience or training may not be used for this grade level.
