🔧 What You'll Be Building

As a Mechanical Assembler, you'll work on custom-engineered electrical switchgear cabinets from start to finish.

Your Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

✅ Interpret assembly drawings, blueprints, and elevation drawings

✅ Assemble modular steel cabinets and copper bus assemblies

✅ Gather materials, hardware, and components according to work orders

✅ Utilize hand and power tools to complete assemblies

✅ Perform quality inspections to ensure accuracy and workmanship

✅ Follow detailed manufacturing instructions and safety procedures

✅ Work closely with fabrication, welding, wiring, and engineering teams

🛠 What Makes You a Great Fit?

Required Experience:

✔ At least 2 years of experience in one of the following:

  • Mechanical Assembly

  • Machine Building

  • Automotive Mechanic

  • Custom Manufacturing

  • Job Shop Manufacturing Environment

(Preferred candidates have experience beyond repetitive assembly line production.)

Technical Skills:

✔ Ability to read and interpret blueprints and assembly drawings

✔ Knowledge of electrical symbols and schematics

✔ Comfortable using:

  • Wrenches

  • Screwdrivers

  • Pliers

  • Drills

  • Impact Tools

  • Pneumatic Torque Wrenches

✔ Ability to accurately read a tape measure

✔ Basic math skills including:

  • Fractions

  • Decimals

  • Measurements

✔ Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $22.00/hr.
