Master's degree from a program accredited by the Council for Accreditation of Counseling and Related Education Programs (CACREP) or an equivalent degree, OR b. Master's degree from a program accredited by the Commission on Accreditation for Marriage and Family Therapy Education (COAMFTE) or an equivalent degree, OR c. Master's degree in Social Work from a graduate school accredited by the Council on Social Work Education (CSWE) or an equivalent degree,ORd. Doctoral degree in clinical or counseling psychology from an American Psychological Association (APA) accredited university or professional school and a one-year APA accredited clinical internship.2. State or U.S. territory license or certification that provides legal authority to provide clinical services as an independent practitioner in the fields of Licensed Professional Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, Clinical Social Work, Clinical Psychology or Counseling Psychology.3. When the state or U.S. territory licensing or certification requirements include a written examination, candidates for privileging, must have achieved a passing score on that examination.4. Must have engaged in two years, full-time, post-masters supervised clinical experience Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., professional, philanthropic, religious, spiritual, community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will provide direct services for the Family Advocacy Program (FAP) including conducting clinical case assessment (e.g., safety/lethality). You will provide clinical treatment/intervention for individuals, couples, children, families, and groups on family maltreatment. You will serve as a community liaison to ensure an effective coordinated community response to allegations of child abuse/neglect and domestic abuse including situations with high-risk for bodily harm or lethal violence within the family. You will conduct clinical interviews to assess individuals and identify the development of behavior patterns, mechanisms, and symptoms. You will provide strategic clinical consultation to installation leadership, medical professionals, and multi-disciplinary teams to guide clinical needs assessments and coordinate systemic military community responses. You will oversee comprehensive clinical needs assessments to design, execute, and monitor highly specialized treatment plans for both victims and offenders of family maltreatment. Basic education requirements for the GS-0180, Professional Psychology Series:Have successfully completed a degree with a major or equivalent in psychology for a specialization other than clinical or counseling psychology OR Have successfully completed all the requirements for a doctoral degree (Ph.D. or equivalent) directly related to full professional work in clinical psychology.ORHave successfully completed 2 full academic years of graduate study directly related to professional work in counseling psychology, or successfully completed all the requirements for a master's degree directly related to counseling psychology in an accredited educational institution. Basic education requirements for the GS-0185, Professional Social Work Series:Have successfully completed a degree in social work that fulfills all of the requirements for the master's degree in social work from a school accredited by the Council on Social Work Education. OR Have successfully completed a master's degree in social work with practicum.
