Job Description
A Traveling Technician is responsible for completing the following tasks:
Service, calibrate, commission, troubleshoot and repair a variety of meters, pumps, registers, and other petroleum equipment
Maintain required performance and maintenance records, and accurate DOT logs/paperwork
Start up and service tanker truck terminal load rack equipment, ethanol skids, and other petroleum equipment
Install and repair grounding and overfill prevention systems
Warranty work, annual inspections, and emergency service work
Equipment testing to check operation
90% overnight weekday travel
Other duties as assigned
Compensation
The starting pay range for this position is $22.00 to $28.00 per hour. Final compensation will depend on various factors including: skills, experience, and location.

Qualifications
HS Graduate or equivalent; Tech/trade school training is a plus
Outstanding driving record with respect to observing driving regulations and federal/state/local motor vehicle laws
Required to have a valid State Driver's License with the ability to obtain a commercial driver's license with hazmat endorsement upon hire
Experience with mechanical repair, troubleshooting, and an analytical aptitude
Expectations of Employees
Must be able to work independently
Ability to obtain appropriate weights and measures permits
Perform all work in a 100% safe manner following appropriate regulations, policies, and procedures
Ability to work safely with flammable liquids; occasional hazardous material handling
Ability to work outdoors in all seasons
Ability to complete tasks according to planned schedule
