Full job description
Our client, a leader in industrial operations and automation, is seeking a Robotics Technician to join their team. As a Robotics Technician, you will be part of the Operations Maintenance department supporting the maintenance and repair of material handling equipment and pneumatic systems. The ideal candidate will demonstrate technical proficiency, problem-solving skills, and a collaborative attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Robotics Technician
Location: Channahon, IL
Pay Range: $28-$29.59/hour
Schedule: Must have flexibility to work one of the below schedules:
Sunday – Wednesday OR Monday – Thursday; 6AM – 4:30PM
Wednesday – Saturday OR Thursday – Sunday; 6AM – 4:30PM
Sunday – Wednesday OR Monday – Thursday; 6PM – 4:30AM
Wednesday – Saturday OR Thursday – Sunday; 6PM – 4:30AM
This is a 5 Month Contract to Potential Hire
What's the Job?

Support the Operations Maintenance team in repairing and maintaining material handling equipment and pneumatic systems throughout the facility.

Install, maintain, and repair automated packaging and distribution equipment.

Develop skills in troubleshooting electrical and mechanical issues related to material handling systems.

Mentor junior technicians to foster growth and knowledge sharing within the team.

Promote a safe working environment by adhering to all safety procedures and standards.
What's Needed?
-
High school diploma or equivalent.
-
Ability to work flexible schedules, including weekends, nights, and holidays.
-
At least 1 year of experience with PC competency including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.

Physical ability to lift up to 49 pounds and stand or walk for extended periods.
-
Willingness to travel up to 20% as needed.
