LIFTING AND HANDLING MANAGER

You will serve as a Lifting and Handling Director in the Lifting and Handling Department (Code 700) of PEARL HARBOR NSY AND IMF. Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-14 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector leading a diverse team at a waterfront nuclear-capable shipyard. This experience must include industrial engineering duties, scheduling, nuclear safety protocols, and resolving complex technical or operational challenges to maximize the departments efficiency and effectiveness. You will serve as the Lifting and Handling Program administrative and technical advisor to the Shipyard Commander. You will oversee material distribution and personnel movement throughout the waterfront to support Lifting and Handling operations. You will act as the Certifying Official for all Navy-owned and leased Weight Handling Equipment (WHE). You will represent the shipyard at meetings and conferences, assisting in the development of lifting and handling policies and objectives. You will oversee the inspection, testing, and maintenance of equipment and initiate corrective action as necessary. Security clearance required: Secret
