Job Title: Returns and Recall Warehouse Associate - ENTRY LEVEL

Job Description

This role focuses on processing returned and recalled items from retail stores so they can be accurately re-added to distribution center inventory or rerouted to other locations. You will work along a conveyor line using an RF scanner to identify, scan, and sort products, and you will build and wrap pallets to ensure items are safely organized for shipment or storage.

Responsibilities

  • Process returned and recalled items from retail stores so they can be added back to distribution center shelves or rerouted to other distribution centers and retail locations.

  • Work along a conveyor belt to handle items as they move through the returns and recall process.

  • Use an RF scanner to identify, scan, and process items according to established procedures.

  • Verify item labels and inventory information to ensure accurate tracking and routing.

  • Build and wrap pallets of returned and recalled items to prepare them for storage or shipment.

  • Organize items on pallets and in designated areas to maintain a clean and orderly workspace.

  • Perform repetitive tasks while standing in one place along the conveyor line for extended periods.

  • Handle, move, and position materials using basic material handling tools and equipment.

  • Support inventory control by accurately picking, sorting, and recording items as needed.

  • Follow all safety guidelines and operational procedures within the distribution center.

Essential Skills

  • Experience with general labor and material handling in a warehouse or distribution center environment.

  • Ability to use an RF scanner to identify, scan, and process items.

  • Comfort with repetitive work while standing mostly in one place along a conveyor line.

  • Skill in handling and organizing items to maintain accurate inventory and efficient workflow.

  • Basic knowledge of picking and inventory processes.

  • Ability to safely use pallet jacks and related material handling equipment.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience working with conveyor belt systems in a warehouse setting.

  • Prior exposure to building and wrapping pallets for storage or shipment.

  • Attention to detail when reading labels and verifying item information.

  • Strong organizational skills to keep materials and work areas orderly.

  • Reliability and consistency in performing repetitive tasks throughout the shift.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Providence Forge, VA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00/hr.
