Full job description
Job Summary:
The Role:
Responsible for directing vehicles on where to park and ensuring all vehicles and guests are following venue protocols.
Job Functions:

Direct motorists to parking areas or parking spaces, using hand signals or flashlights as necessary.

Keep parking areas clean and orderly to ensure that space usage is maximized.

Patrol parking areas to prevent vehicle damage and vehicle or property thefts.

Greet guests and welcome them to Alpine Valley.

Issue ticket stubs, or mark vehicle windshields for special parking.

May calculate parking charges and collect fees from guests.

Lift, position, and remove barricades to open or close parking areas.

Participate in venue recycling efforts before, during and after the show.

Guide guests to exits or provide other instructions or assistance in case of emergency.

May assist in verifying staff credentials to generally restricted areas.

Assist patrons by giving directions places inside or outside the venue.

Partner with fellow crew members at the end of show to close the venue.

Other tasks assigned by the Parking Manager or Supervisor.
This position starts at $16.00 per hour.
Qualifications:

Position requires constant walking and occasional sitting.

Must possess excellent communication skills, with the ability to express oneself in a professional, clear fashion.

Strong sense of teamwork and the ability to execute programs.
Employees must be 15 years or older for this position.
