Full job description
You will serve as a Supervisory Inventory Management Specialist of NAVSUP FLEET LOGISTICS CENTER NORFOLK. Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the (GS-09) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: I have one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-09) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Applicants must meet eligibility requirements including time-in-grade (General Schedule (GS) positions only), time-after-competitive appointment, minimum qualifications, and any other regulatory requirements by the cut-off/closing date of the announcement. Examples of specialized experience may include the following: validating physical inventory discrepancies of materials; coordinating material inventory for audit purposes; identifying and correcting inventory; and reviewing procedures for inventory accuracy. You will plan, develop, implement and execute program objectives You will review procedures in all areas affecting inventory accuracy , including receipt processing, requisition processing, and physical inventory functions You will review/analyze automated supply support systems and ensure ERP systems are correcting accounting inventory You will have supervisory duties You will analyze and resolve situations concerning a wide variety of issues relating to Navy's ERP material accountability inventory and inventory programs Security clearance required: Secret
Education In lieu of specialized experience, you may qualify with the following education or combination of both education and experience: Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree or 3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree or LL.M., if related A transcript must be submitted with your application if qualifying using education.
