Medical Receptionist
Location: Marlton, NJ (On-site)
Schedule:

Monday to Thursday: 7:45 AM - 5:15 PM
-
Friday: 7:45 AM - 12:00 PM (every third Friday until 3:00 PM)
Position Overview
Seeking an experienced and professional Medical Receptionist to join our busy medical practice in Marlton, NJ. This individual will serve as the first point of contact for patients and play a key role in ensuring a positive patient experience while supporting daily office operations. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment, handle a high volume of patient interactions, and provide exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities

Greet and check in patients, ensuring a welcoming and professional experience.

Verify patient demographic information, insurance details, and maintain accurate records within the EMR system.

Schedule, confirm, and manage patient appointments both in person and over the phone.

Follow up with patients regarding missed appointments and scheduling needs.

Verify insurance coverage, collect co-pays, and process outstanding patient balances.

Maintain and update patient records to ensure accuracy and compliance.

Answer patient questions and address concerns, escalating issues when appropriate.

Coordinate with physicians, nurses, and office staff to support patient care and office efficiency.

Perform general administrative duties including scanning, faxing, filing, handling mail, and signing for deliveries.

Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and patient confidentiality standards.
Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent required.

3+ years of medical receptionist or medical front desk experience required.

Experience with patient registration, insurance verification, and appointment scheduling.

Strong communication and customer service skills.

Ability to multitask and remain organised in a busy office seeing 50-60 patients per day.

Proficiency with EMR systems and general office software.

Oncology or specialty practice experience is a plus.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $21.00/hr.
