This position is part of the Government Publication Sales, Government Publishing Office in Washington, District of Columbia . . To qualify for the Lead Supply Technician, PG - 2005 - 07 , you must meet the following requirements: To minimally qualify for the PG-07: You must possess one (1) year of specialized experience at the PG-06 (or equivalent) level or higher. Examples of qualifying specialized experience include: 1) Managing data to assess operational performance, such as efficiency, costs, resource utilization, and equipment readiness; 2) Providing recommendations for operational improvements; AND 3) Coordinating material shipments and tracking inventory. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. All qualification requirements must be met by the closing date of this announcement (08/10/2026) to be considered. Serves as the technical anchor for the section, helping oversee daily warehouse and order fulfillment operations, managing aspects of distribution logistics, and coordinating mail management under the guidance of the supervisor. Works directly impacts the inventory accuracy, material condition, and processing speed of customer orders, which directly influence customer relations and stakeholder satisfaction. Acts as a liaison to fulfill orders, clarify shipping discrepancies, resolve customer complaints, coordinate equipment maintenance, and ensure team cooperation. Participates in high-visibility special projects, organizational audits, and routine administrative support activities to maintain overall unit compliance and readiness. Safeguards the physical condition, location, and inventory accuracy of materials stored within the facility. Education Substitution of education in lieu of specialized experience may not be used or this grade level.
