Our client, a leading logistics and warehousing organization, is seeking a Material Handler to join their team. As a Material Handler, you will be part of the warehouse operations supporting inventory management and supply chain efficiency. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and a team-oriented mindset which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Material Handler
Location: Bedford Park, IL
Pay Range: $20
Shift: Monday through Friday, 8am - 4:30pm
What's the Job?

Receive and count stock items, and record data manually or using computer.
-
Pack and unpack items to be stocked on shelves in stockrooms, warehouses, or storage yards.

Verify inventory computations by comparing them to physical counts of stock, and investigate discrepancies or adjust errors.

Store items in an orderly and accessible manner in warehouses, tool rooms, supply rooms, or other areas.

Mark stock items using identification tags, stamps, electric marking tools, or other labeling equipment.
What's Needed?

High school diploma or GED required.
-
0-2 years of experience in a warehouse or stock handling environment.

Verbal and written communication skills, analytical and problem-solving ability.

Team player and detail-oriented mindset.

Knowledge of relevant equipment, policies, procedures, and strategies to promote effective operations.
