Full job description
Avionics Technician
Have 1st and 2nd shift openings.
6 month contract to hire
Open to any airframe experience
Perform avionics maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, and installation on AW139 helicopters and other aircraft in an FAA repair station environment. Responsibilities include wire harness fabrication, system diagnostics, avionics modifications, and maintenance documentation. Work with systems such as transponders, navigation/communication equipment, radar, and DME while supporting heavy maintenance and completion projects.
Requirements:

4+ years of avionics experience
-
FAA repair station experience
-
Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to read wiring diagrams/schematics
-
Experience with avionics installations, repairs, and wire harness fabrication

Ownership of basic avionics hand tools

Ability to work overtime as needed
Preferred:
-
AW139 or other helicopter experience
-
Garmin, Honeywell, or Cobham avionics experience
-
FCC GROL and/or FAA A&P certification
-
Corporate, commercial, military, or helicopter aviation experience
Work Environment: Based in a Philadelphia-area MRO and completion center, supporting helicopter and fixed-wing aircraft maintenance, modifications, and avionics installations in a fast-paced, safety-focused hangar environment.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Bensalem, PA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $32.00/hr.
