POSITION SUMMARY:
Gelcoat is a liquid that hardens to form a thick layer of protective fiberglass and gives a shiny, smooth finish. This position applies gel coat to production hull and deck molds by using hand operated spray equipment.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Operates spray gun to apply various coats of gel coat to molds according to production schedule, ensuring color, finish and thickness are adhered to.

Pulls tape on deck or hull molds.

Maintains and cleans test gel coating equipment to ensure it operates as required.
-
Maintains a clean and environmentally safe work area.
-
Continued awareness and protective actions regarding all health, safety and chemical protocols and processes

EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS:
- Minimum Degree Required: High School Diploma or Equivalent
