About the position: This position is Non-appropriated Fund (NAF) and will be assigned to the Cypress Lakes Golf Course, Travis Air Force Base, CA. Physical Effort: Occasionally lifting and carrying heavy objects weighing up to 50 pounds. Eligible to use base facilities such as the Base Exchange (BX), Gym, Outdoor Rec, Library, Marina, Golf Course, Bowling Center, and the Arts & Crafts Center. Who May Apply: Open to everyone. Applicants will be categorized by preference(s) and/or priority consideration eligibilities. An applicant's eligibility will be determined based on eligibility claimed in the questionnaire and proof of eligibility MUST be provided with application by the closing date, 08/03/2026 Business Based Action, Military Spouse Preference, Outside Applicant Veteran, Spouse/Widow/Parent of Veteran, and Transition Hiring Preference In order to qualify, you must meet the experience requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if the position allows for qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application. Qualifying Experience: No prior training or work experience is required. Must be able to use, control and clean common hand tools, and simple power equipment. Must be physically able to lift and carry 40 pounds. Must be able to actively bend, stoop, stand, reach and work in awkward positions. Performs simple golf cart maintenance (i.e., replenishes fuel/charge levels, washes) readies golf carts for customer use, including cleaning/washing. Maintains rental equipment in a clean and orderly manner. Maintains area surrounding the club house, to include mowing, weed control and using leaf blower. Fills water coolers on the course. Picks up trash from containers located on the course and at the club house. Picks up trash on/around the parking lots keeping them free of debris. Picks up balls on the driving range using a cart equipped with a ball picker. Cleans restroom facilities on the course and at the clubhouse. Washes interior and exterior windows of the club house.
