Primary Function

The Paid Media Manager supports the development, execution, optimization, and analysis of direct-to-consumer (DTC) paid media strategies for one of the client's Marketing portfolio. This role partners with Brand Leads, Centers of Excellence (COE), agency partners, and cross-functional stakeholders to drive brand awareness, patient engagement, and conversion through integrated media campaigns. The position serves as an internal subject matter expert on patient-facing paid media channels while ensuring media plans align with business objectives and deliver measurable impact.

Duties & Responsibilities

Coordinate agency partners, media partners, internal teams, and cross-functional stakeholders to successfully execute paid media plans.

Support the development and implementation of paid media strategies in partnership with Brand Leads and COE teams.

Manage media planning and buying activities across a portfolio of brands, ensuring effective targeting, execution, optimization, and performance tracking.

Ensure media plans remain aligned with brand priorities, messaging, and business objectives.

Facilitate timely completion of campaign deliverables, logistics, and project milestones.

Partner with Brand teams, Omni-Channel Intelligence (OI), Integrated Analytics, and COE teams to establish performance metrics and measure campaign effectiveness.

Maintain alignment across brand account managers, brand leads, agencies, and media partners regarding campaign priorities and execution plans.

Collaborate with Brand Leads and COE partners on media plan development, execution, and optimization.

Coordinate with external agencies and media partners to ensure successful and timely campaign launches.

Manage communication regarding asset requirements, campaign timelines, and deliverables across stakeholders.

Support campaign setup, testing methodologies, reporting requirements, and measurement frameworks.

Monitor campaign performance and test-and-learn initiatives to identify optimization opportunities.

Partner with agencies and external vendors to measure and report media conversion performance.

Assist with budget management, spend optimization, and resource allocation to maximize return on investment.

Manage contract-related processes in accordance with internal and external requirements.

Lead and participate in recurring media planning, status, and optimization meetings.

Serve as an internal resource and advisor on client-facing paid media channels and industry best practices.

Identify opportunities for innovation and continuous improvement within paid media programs.

Support a collaborative, inclusive, and high-performing team environment.

Skills & Qualifications

Minimum of 5 years of paid media marketing experience required.

Experience managing multi-channel paid marketing programs and comprehensive media plans.

Pharmaceutical media experience preferred.

Strong knowledge of digital media channels, including display, online video (OLV), connected TV (CTV), and paid social media.

Understanding of media planning, buying, measurement, and optimization processes.

Strong analytical and data-driven decision-making skills.

Experience with campaign testing, performance measurement, and conversion tracking.

Proven ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Strong project management, organization, and follow-through skills.

Ability to anticipate challenges, develop solutions, and execute effectively.

Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Education & Experience

Bachelor's degree required or equivalent combination of education and experience.

MBA preferred.

Experience supporting media strategy, campaign execution, performance analysis, and optimization.

Prior experience working with agency partners and cross-functional marketing teams preferred.

Hybrid work arrangement available; onsite presence required at the Plainsboro office based on business needs.
