Full job description

We are seeking a highly organized and efficient Production Supervisor to join our manufacturing team in Norman, United States. The ideal candidate will oversee daily production operations, ensure quality standards are met, and lead a team of production workers to achieve optimal performance and productivity.

  • Manage and coordinate daily production activities to meet quality and quantity targets

  • Develop and implement production schedules and workflows to maximize efficiency

  • Monitor production processes and adjust procedures to enhance productivity

  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a safe work environment

  • Train, supervise, and evaluate production team members

  • Collaborate with other departments to resolve production issues and improve processes

  • Conduct regular quality control checks and implement corrective actions as needed

  • Manage inventory levels and coordinate with suppliers to maintain adequate materials

  • Analyze production data and prepare reports for upper management

  • Identify and implement cost-saving measures and process improvements

  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field

  • 3+ years of experience in manufacturing or production supervision

  • Strong knowledge of production management and lean manufacturing principles

  • Proficient in quality control methodologies and safety protocols

  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills

  • Proven leadership abilities with experience managing and motivating teams

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and ERP systems

  • Experience with production planning, scheduling, and inventory management

  • Knowledge of continuous improvement methodologies

  • Six Sigma certification preferred

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
