Industrial Painter
Job Summary:
Nidec Minster Corporation is currently seeking a full-time Industrial Painter to work as part of the final assembly department. This is a full-time position.
Industrial Painter Job Responsibilities:

Operate various types of spray-painting equipment, applying protective coatings and paints to Minster manufactured machinery and parts.

Operate equipment to clean, wash, strip, sand, remove corrosion, fill voids, or otherwise prepare fabricated steel items for application of paint and or other protective coatings.

Clean and maintain painting and coating, ventilation, compressed air, and personal protective equipment.
-
Maintain daily logs of paint data.
-
Wear required personal protective equipment including a fitted respirator.

Assist Machine Tool Builders in the assembling of Minster equipment as directed.
-
Operate cranes and assist in the rigging of large pieces of equipment.
-
Operate lift truck equipment as needed.
-
Work safely around large parts.
-
Maintain housekeeping of work area.

Participate in activities to facilitate continuous improvement.
-
Other duties as assigned.
Industrial Painter Qualifications:
-
High school diploma or GED.
-
3-5 years industrial or finish painting experience a plus.
-
Detail oriented.
-
Related vocational or technical training, and/or work experience a plus (such as auto body painting).
-
Blue print reading.
-
Hand tools experience strongly preferred.
-
Mechanical/electrical skills a plus for this position.

Able to work in a team environment.
