Full job description

Akima Global Technology is looking for a Multimedia and Printers Supervisor to work at Wright Patterson AFB, Ohio. To join our team of outstanding professionals, apply today!

Responsibilities

  • The Contractor shall manage, direct, and oversee the installation, remedial repair, and scheduled preventive hardware and software maintenance of multimedia and audiovisual systems, including Sony analog and digital video-editing equipment, projectors, screens, televisions, audio/video editing stations, video teleconferencing systems, and Crestron control systems.

  • The Contractor shall manage and oversee the installation, remedial repair, and scheduled preventive hardware and software maintenance of audio systems and equipment, including Crown, Biamp, Klipsch, Atlas, EVI, TOA, and Sony speaker systems; Audio-Technica and Sennheiser microphones; portable audio equipment; and public-address systems.

  • The Contractor shall ensure assigned personnel properly utilize the NASIC trouble-ticket tracking system to document, track, manage, and account for all work performed.

  • The Contractor shall oversee the monitoring of daily event logs, ensure hardware failures are promptly identified, and coordinate appropriate corrective actions.

  • The Contractor shall manage and coordinate the installation of original equipment manufacturer firmware, software updates, and patches for control systems and audiovisual switching and routing equipment.

  • The Contractor shall ensure troubleshooting and technical support are provided for televisions experiencing issues receiving or displaying the base-provided cable television service.

  • The Contractor shall direct and oversee the installation and integration of cabling, amplifiers, equalizers, taps, splitters, and related audiovisual infrastructure.

  • The Contractor shall coordinate with and support the Government Task Manager in maintaining and updating architectural diagrams and documentation for all installations and system changes in accordance with NASIC guidance.

  • The Contractor shall manage inventory control and accountability activities for all IPC III conference rooms in accordance with DAFMAN 17-1203 and shall ensure assigned personnel perform these activities with minimal Government supervision.

  • The Contractor shall prepare and provide monthly functional-area reports summarizing work accomplished, work planned for the following month, workload status, performance trends, and significant issues occurring during the reporting period.

  • The Contractor shall ensure assigned personnel comply with all applicable local standard operating procedures and shall oversee the development, review, and maintenance of related knowledge-management documentation in accordance with NASIC requirements.

  • The Contractor shall manage and oversee customer-oriented technical support for the diagnosis, resolution, maintenance, and serviceability of printers, multifunction devices, plotters, 3D printers, flatbed scanners, and associated peripheral equipment.

Qualifications

  • Possess & maintain Information Assurance Technical (IAT) Level II certification as required by Air Force Manual (AFMAN) 17-1303, Department of Defense (DoD) Directive 8140.01, and DoD 8570.01-M.

  • Active TS/SCI.
