SUPERVISORY EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST

You will serve as a SUPERVISORY EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST in the Ship Safety Division of the Operations Department, of PSNS and IMF. Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector managing or directing casualty preparedness programs by developing contingency plans, assessing emergency strategies and evaluating large-scale exercise/drill events to improve program effectiveness, compliance, and readiness. You will manage the casualty preparedness program to include program management, compliance, oversight, and quality assurance. You will monitor the effectiveness and coordinate overall management of complex casualty responses to include casualty control, and other major disaster exercises or responses at all PSNS and IMF locations. You will coordinate, direct and make decisions on matters affecting the casualty preparedness program, including overall drill attributes, performance and coordination of personnel, equipment, and technical instructions to perform exercises. You will be responsible for formalizing response policies and ensuring application of required standards and procedures, lessons learned, and to integrate casualty response into the PSNS and IMF training program.
