Job Title: Cloud Solution Architect - Prisma

Location: Charlotte, North Carolina, United States

Type: Contract

Responsibilities:

  • Design and build scalable, secure multi-cloud architectures across AWS, Azure, and GCP.

  • Work across cloud infrastructure, Kubernetes, networking, and automation to deliver robust solutions.

  • Partner with DevOps, Networking, and Application teams to develop integrated solutions.

  • Architect multi-cloud environments including VPC/VNet peering, private connectivity, and traffic routing.

  • Manage and optimize Kubernetes environments, including namespaces, ingress, service mesh, and networking.

  • Develop Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible.

  • Automate workflows and integrations using Python or Go.

  • Implement and support CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins.

  • Design and integrate REST and GraphQL APIs with secure authentication protocols.

  • Implement observability solutions using Prometheus, Datadog, or OpenTelemetry.

  • Troubleshoot distributed systems and microservices environments.

  • Create high-level and low-level design documentation (HLD/LLD).

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business needs into technical solutions.

Requirements:

  • Deep knowledge of networking constructs in AWS, Azure, and GCP, especially traffic routing, VPC/VNet peering, and private connectivity.

  • Proficiency in Kubernetes management, including namespaces, ingress controllers, service meshes, and pod-to-pod communication.

  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible.

  • Strong scripting skills in Python or Go for automation and API interaction.

  • Solid understanding of cloud networking and software-defined networking (SDN).

  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.

  • Knowledge of API architectures (REST/GraphQL) and authentication protocols like OAuth 2.0 and OIDC.

  • Familiarity with modern web architectures including load balancers, CDN, and SSL/TLS.

  • Experience with observability tools such as Datadog, Prometheus, and OpenTelemetry.

  • Understanding of data governance, PII/PHI handling, and data privacy techniques.

  • Experience with system integration using message brokers, webhooks, or ESB.

  • Strong solution design and documentation skills.

  • Excellent cross-functional communication and technical discovery abilities.
