Be respectful of others Laboratory Technician Responsibilities:

Conduct tests in accordance with standards and procedures, record results.

Ensure that test equipment is calibrated or tested and operates properly.

Interface with and update the Lab Manager(s), Team Leader(s) and Project Coordinator(s).

Monitors multiple projects underway.
-
Prepare test reports and related documents.
-
Keeps current with industry technical developments and disseminates to the team, as necessary.
-
Support the laboratory managers and team leaders with assignments of new projects to technicians based on competency.
-
Support the Austin team with coordination of testing activities.
-
Support the laboratory managers with tracking of team utilization and identify potential issues (technical, procedural, and commercial).

Four-year college Engineering degree, or other technical degree with relevant work experience Reporting:
This position reports directly to the Engineering Manager
