GENERAL SUPPLY SPECIALIST

You will serve as a General Supply Specialist of NAVSUP FLT LOGISTICS CNTR PUGET SOUND. Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-07) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector with demonstrating the following: reviews and processes Strategic Weapons Facility Pacific (SWFPAC) Operating Space Allowance and Equipage List (OS/AEL) documents, including, but not limited to: verifying ACR information; transmitting verified ACRs for approval; reporting OS/ AEL updates and pending transactions; conducting training on OS/ AEL management software for SWFPAC military, contractor and civilian personnel. Receives, inspects, researches, segregates, requests disposal of, and provides periodic reports on Oxygen Clean program material. Inspects and processes nuclear ion exchange resin, receives, researches, processes, and determines the disposition of PSNS excess rip-out material, submarine/surface ships recycle material, and other material being processed out of Navy inventory. Identifies, inspects, and segregates turn-in material. Processes incoming carcasses, Not Ready For Issue (NRFI) material, and Ready For Issue (RFI) material to be put back into inventory. Process DLA Disposition (DRMO) material from outside entities along with warehouse stock when it requested by Item Manager (IM) or expired shelf life. Upload scanned copies of documents into DOCUSCAN. Investigates reports of discrepant material (Product Quality Deficiency Reports, or PQDR and Supply Discrepancy Reports, or SOR), prepares supporting documentation for the appropriate screening and action activities for resolution and disposition instructions. Follows up on open discrepant material reports to ensure that appropriate action is taken. Initiates rebuttal actions when unacceptable responses are received. Performs causative research on inventory discrepancies and process inventory adjustments. When researching inventory discrepancies, reviews transaction histories, copies of receipt and issue documents, and interviews involved personnel as required to determine the cause of inventory gains and losses that exceed the dollar limits prescribed by applicable instructions. Enters PQDR submissions, updates and dispositions into the applicable database systems, uploads all PQDR submissions and updates the Product Data Reporting and Evaluation Program (POREP). Validates Defective Material Summary (OMS) reports, inspects the material, carries out the disposition instructions identified in the OMS, and flags stock numbers in the system.
