Full job description
Regular, Full-Time position | Schedule: 4 10-hour shifts (Wed, Thurs, Fri and one weekend shift) | Pay: Starting between $17-$18 per hour, Dependent upon cooking experience
Weekly earned wage access is an option for this position
Job Purpose or Objective(s): The Cook 3 is an advanced experienced level and is responsible for the preparation for patients in a high-volume setting.
Primary Tasks:

Prepare various ingredients to be cooked to include washing, chopping, slicing, and peeling of fruits and vegetables.

Cook food to include baking, broiling, frying, steaming, braising, and boiling; provides meals that are properly cooked, tasty and visually appealing; tastes foods before serving and provides garnishes for food plates.

Provide high quality, fresh food to guests using standardized recipes in accordance with the Oklahoma Diet Manuel.

Control the level of waste by proper production levels and converted portion guidelines.

Store and label prepared and open food following the Choctaw Nation food safety guidelines.

Practice proper food storage and adheres to suitable food serving temperatures and documentation.

Maintain a safe, sanitary, and organized work environment by practicing proper housekeeping procedure such as cleaning while working.

Assist with set-up, service, and clean-up of food production.

Rotate stock to ensure usage and disposal occurs before the expiration date.

Maintain proper documentation/records in accordance with dietary guidelines

Assist with training and cross training other employees.

Perform other duties as may be assigned.
Requirements:

Food Handlers Permit through Choctaw Nation

Knowledge of the Oklahoma Diet Manuel

Ability to read and follow recipes
