Receiving Specialist Bastrop, TX OPERATIONS, Inventory In office Full-time The Boring Company was founded to solve the problem of soul-destroying traffic by creating an underground network of tunnels. Today, we are creating the technology to increase tunneling speed and decrease costs by a factor of 10 or more with the ultimate goal of making Hyperloop adoption viable and enabling rapid transit across densely populated regions. The Boring Company is seeking a Receiving Specialist to support warehouse and operations teams by managing incoming materials, verifying shipments, and ensuring inventory is accurately received, documented, and stored. This role is ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, dependable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced industrial or manufacturing environment. Responsibilities

  • Receive, inspect, and verify incoming materials, parts, tools, and equipment against purchase orders and packing slips.

  • Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, hand trucks, and other material-handling equipment to unload, move, and stage incoming shipments.

  • Accurately document receipts, discrepancies, damages, and shortages in inventory or ERP systems.

  • Coordinate with purchasing, warehouse, production, and logistics teams to resolve shipment issues quickly.

  • Label, organize, and move received materials to proper storage or staging areas.

  • Maintain a clean, safe, and efficient receiving area while following company safety procedures.

  • Assist with cycle counts, inventory audits, and general warehouse support as needed. Qualifications

  • 1+ year of receiving, warehouse, inventory, logistics, or manufacturing experience preferred.

  • Experience operating forklifts, pallet jacks, hand trucks, and other warehouse or material-handling equipment preferred.

  • Ability to read purchase orders, packing slips, part numbers, and basic inventory documentation.

  • Comfortable using computers, scanners, and inventory management systems.
