Full job description

Full-time| Tuesday to Friday 7am-5:30pm| PG4| Weekly earned wage access is an option for this position.

Job Purpose or Objective(s): The Dental Sterilization Technician maintains dental equipment and aids with cleaning, infection control and all sterilization of instruments in the Dental department. You will report to the Manager.

Primary Tasks:

  1. Maintain dental equipment logs and send monthly reports.

  2. Inventory carts and replenish supplies.

  3. Clean and disinfect dental treatment areas after each patient.

  4. Replace infection control barriers in the dental units after cleaning.

  5. Perform required maintenance on dental equipment as recommended by the manufacturer.

  6. Prevent cross contamination by practicing infection control standards by sterilizing and disinfecting all dental instrumentation as set forth by company policy and procedures and manufacturer recommendations.

  7. Perform clerical responsibilities and assist with patient service needs.

  8. Perform other responsibilities as may be assigned.

  • Six months experience using computer applications: Word, Excel
